We serve patients all across the United States through our secure dermatology telemedicine platform making expert care accessible no matter where you live.

Yes. We use a HIPAA-compliant and fully secure platform to keep all personal and medical information safe and private.

Yes, in most cases we can provide same-day or next-day appointments.

Yes. All of our dermatologists are board-certified physicians with expertise in medical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology.

Irvine Dermatology requires a valid credit card on file for all patients. Cards are stored securely in a PCI-compliant system.

Your card will only be charged for:

  • No-show or late cancellation fees (see policy below)

  • Any unpaid patient balances that are deemed patient responsibility by your insurance policy. If your insurance denies the visit, you will be charged for the entire visit. All patients can request the current rates from our schedulers.

We kindly ask for advance cancellation notice so we can offer appointments to other patients in need.

  • Please cancel at least 24 business hours notice for all telemedicine appointments

  • Cancellations, reschedules, or missed appointments with less than the required notice are subject to a $100 fee.

Most insurance plans do cover telemedicine services. When accurate and up-to-date insurance information is provided, Irvine Dermatology will bill your insurance on your behalf.  However, please note that insurance coverage is ultimately determined by your insurance company, and we are not able to guarantee coverage for any visit. If your plan does not cover telemedicine, you will be responsible for the self-pay rate.

Additionally, even if your visit is covered, you may still owe a balance if you have a deductible or other patient responsibility. Again, these are determined by your insurance provider, and we have no control over how benefits are applied. If you have questions about your specific coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance company directly. Read the insurance coverage guide here.
